Miranda’s Random Act of Kindess

It's the holiday season and this week, we've been highlighting people in our community who have performed random acts of kindness. You hear so many negative things in the world today so, we want to take time to highlight the good others do.

I have to say when I heard this story, I thought to myself wow, what if more people did this!

Amanda Porter nominated Miranda Espinoza, her stylist at Shearly Marvelous. While Amanda was at the salon last week, Miranda shared her story.

Miranda voluntarily sponsored a 14 year old adopted girl from her church. Apparently "Brandy " (14 yr old) has recently been adopted by her great grandparents. Her sweet spirit was not being reflected in her appearance. Nothing about her was age appropriate, it seemed as though she was making due with her grandmother's wardrobe. So  Miranda has been working to make this girl over for Christmas. Amanda thinks by this Saturday she is gifting everything she has put together to Brandy to encourage her confidence as a young woman. Amanda thought this was so generous and thoughtful of Miranda and we could not agree more. We know “Brandy ” will never forget this random act of kindness.
