Queens of the Stone Age revealed earlier this week that their long-awaited new album, '… Like Clockwork,' would arrive in June. Now we've got the first taste of new music from the disc as the band debuted the track 'My God Is the Sun' during their appearance at Lollapalooza Brazil.

Founding frontman Josh Homme appeared to be having a blast with the band's return to the stage, thanking fans for making signs and talking about how 'My God Is the Sun' really allowed them to loosen up. The song itself is a rocker filled with spiraling guitar work, frenetic drumming and a carnival-like breakdown toward the end.

The performance gave Homme a chance to show off their new-look lineup with former Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore taking over behind the kit. Dave Grohl handled drums for the upcoming Queens album, replacing longtime drummer Joey Castillo, but Theodore was named to handle touring duties. Lollapalooza Brazil was Theodore's first gig with the band. The rest of the lineup features longtime guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, keyboardist Dean Fertita and bassist Michael Shuman.
