On Sunday at Austin Comic Con, a photo op with the entire cast of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' turned into a surprise wedding proposal when a man got down on bended knee and popped the question to his girlfriend. Make it so!

But the bride-to-be wasn't the only person who was stunned. "Marina [Sirtis] started to cry, I felt like I was going to cry, and we all applauded and celebrated when she said 'yes,'" wrote cast member Wil Wheaton on Reddit.

Unfortunately, it looks like Patrick Stewart isn't as impressed as the others. But, wrote Wheaton, he's not actually giving a disgusted "Picard facepalm" as featured in the popular meme.

"I'm not sure why this picture is being circulated online, like Patrick is giving the literal Picard Facepalm, because that's just not what happened. We were all delighted for this young couple, and I know that I was honored to be part of this moment in their lives. I think it's likely that Patrick was just wiping sweat off his brow or something like that," he wrote.

And despite the apparent awkwardness of the photo, Wheaton insists it was anything but. "Once we knew what was happening, it was awesome. I'm incredibly happy for these people, and I love that I got to be part of what is hopefully a moment they'll celebrate and remember for the rest of their lives," he wrote.

What do you think? Is Picard doing the "Facepalm"? Seems awfully suspicious...
