Coming from a large city, I know what traffic is all about. I grew up dealing with Metro Detroit, which is kind of like driving in Houston, only multiplied by 5. So, I don't really consider Victoria traffic much trouble, but I can see where people can get frustrated with it at times.

Parking downtown can be an issue for sure, especially when there's an event that will draw a lot of people like this weekend's Bootfest. Well have no fear,  because you can ride a free shuttle to the festivities!

Just park at either the Patti Dodson Health Center at 2805  N. Navarro, or the Children's Park on McNight Drive near the Rose Garden in Riverside Park, and ride the shuttle.

The shuttle service will run continuously throughout the day beginning at 9:45am on Saturday. Bootfest runs both Friday and Saturday this weekend.
