Everybody has an opinion about what's going on in our country, in our state, in our county, and in our city, but instead of just harping about it on social media, you can actually do something about it by voting. Monday (February 1st) is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming primary election.

You must be at least 18 years old and be a United States citizen to vote, and you must also have not been convicted of a felony still with time to serve. Once you have completed your sentence, that restriction can be lifted.

Applications are available online at votetexas.gov or, you can stop by the Victoria County Elections Office at 2805 N. Navarro, Suite 500. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
