Sebastian Bach says he was once asked to replace Vince Neil in Motley Crue, but turned down the gig in order to remain in his old band, Skid Row: "Gee I sure know how to pick em."

Twitter account. It started when a fan asked Bach if he was ever considered for the Motley Crue singing job after Neil split from the group back in 1992. "Not considered. Asked," was his reply. He then went on to explain his thinking at the time:

We may get a more in-depth version of this intriguing story in the near future, as Bach revealed that he is working on an autobiography. Neil rejoined Motley Crue back in 1997, and the group is currently preparing to invade Las Vegas for a series of shows billed as an "Evening in Hell."

Despite sporadic rumors of a reunion over the years, Bach has yet to reunite with his former Skid Row bandmates since leaving the group in 1996.
