Back in February of 2012, Motley Crue broke new ground for the rock genre with a successful residency at The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. The 12-show run proved to be a huge success for the band, so much so in fact, that they are preparing to shower the Sin City with their signature brand of pure debauchery all over again with a return engagement.

The Crue have just revealed that they will be returning to the stage at The Joint for 12 more shows spanning Sept. 18 through Oct. 6. With their return, they’ll bring along an updated production designed specifically for their second residency that promises a brand new show and surprises around every corner.

Bassist Nikki Sixx dropped (literally) a hint yesterday on April Fools' Day about the upcoming gigs, posting a photo of a bed that was allegedly tossed out of an 11th story window at the Hard Rock Hotel and tweeted a few select words that some savvy fans picked up on.

Sixx also commented further on the new residency with today's official announcement, saying, “We are proud to have pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency last year and can’t wait to come back this year to take it over the top with a brand new show that will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen Motley Crue do before.”

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Vice-President of entertainment Paul Davis is excited about the new venture as well, adding, “The guys had such a wild and successful run the first time around, I’m sure they will want to do everything bigger and better this time." He continued, "We are extremely excited to see what the band brings to The Joint and Vegas during their second residency."

Tickets for the Vegas run go on sale Wednesday (April 3) at 10AM PT with prices starting at $49.50. Visit Motley Crue’s website for more detailed ticketing info.
