As if we haven't had enough of the wet stuff over the past couple of weeks it looks as if more is on the horizon and scheduled to make this week quite the washout. A low pressure system has reared it's ugly head from the Yucatan Peninsula and has made a B-line for the Texas Gulf coast.

At first, different weather models had this thing headed for the Southeast Texas coast or perhaps into Western Louisiana and, as usual, the TV news decided to pick it up and run with it. Now, the models have shifted more to the west which puts Corpus Christi in the direct line of fire. Luckily, this thing won't have a whole lot of time to develop into anything much more than a weak tropical storm but that doesn't mean we here in Texas are ready for the onslaught of rain we are forecast to receive.

Some areas are expected to receive isolated amounts of 14" of rain while the norm across the area will be 3-5" That's just too much water for an area that just 2 weeks ago, was devastated by raging flood waters.

We here at KLUB will surely keep an eye on the situation and of course we will report any severe weather situation to our listeners as/if we receive it.

Hurricane Hunters are scheduled to fly the storm again later this afternoon and we could have Bill on our hands by the end of the day.

Stay tuned.....this could get messy.
