Meet Max Our Hero Behind the Badge

Townsquare Media and RCR Homes, “Your Crossroads Builder”, would like to take a moment to say Thank You to all the Heroes Behind the Badge.  We want to say Thank You to all the police officers, sheriff’s deputies, corrections officers, detectives, parole officers, probation officers, SWAT team members, traffic cops, police supervisors, law enforcement managers, fire fighters, EMS personnel and police chiefs.

This week we would like to feature  Max Hernandez. He has been  in Law Enforcement for 15 yrs. 10 with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Houston. Five with the US Marshals here in Victoria. Max was born and raised in Houston and spent five years in the U.S. Marine Corps Prior to becoming a Police Officer. He doesn't have a favorite music artist but enjoys listening to live music anywhere. He enjoys eating at Noots Thai Kitchen and eats there twice a week. Max has a 105 lb Italian mastiff named Luna. We asked Max why he decided to become in law enforcement and he told us, "I’ve always felt it was my duty to serve my country and my community. After getting out of the Marine Corps it seemed like an easy transition."  Max wants to the public to know about you or about law enforcement that mo matter how bad the public perception of law enforcement is we are always willing to put our lives on the line to protect there. Thank you so much Max for everything you do.
