Medical Marijuana Set to Come to Schulenburg this December

After having legalized the use of medical marijuana for only  narrow medical conditions some two years ago, the State of Texas is set to see its first legal dispensary open for business this year.

According to a report in High Times Magazine, Knox Medical will not be an actual storefront, but instead will be delivering medicinal CBD oil to registered patients statewide. The company also plans to have a grow facility on the location, and some residents say it will bring needed jobs to the area.

It's been a slow process for Texas to get any dispensaries up and running, and it won't be until the end of next year before they're distributing to patients. Orders will begin this January. Owner Jose Hidalgo also runs similar operations in Florida and Puerto Rico
