It's almost fall, everyone, and you know what that means! Stories about football and big sacks.

And then there's this story about Michigan man Dan Maurer, who just raised enough money for an operation to get his swollen, 100-pound scrotum removed. The 39 year old said that his scrotum started ballooning in his late 20s, and continued to swell despite constant exercise.

Maurer said several doctors told him to lose weight as a treatment. It wasn't until he watched a TLC documentary about Wesley Warren Jr. the man with a 132-pound scrotum who died this year after several heart attacks that he realized he has scrotal lymphedema.

Maurer, wanting to save his marriage and possibly his own life, decided to meet with the same California doctor who Warren saw to remove the mass between his legs. But he didn't have the money, even with the help of his wife Mindy's insurance.

But a local parishioner decided to lend a helping hand. Together, they started a GoFundMe page and contacted media, raising more than $28,000 (and counting) for his surgery.

Maurer hopes to be able to help others who suffer from the condition after his surgery, Gawker reports. He also plans on having sex with his wife for the first time in seven years.

Bravo Dan, Bravo. Your priorities are in order sir.
