Man Accidentally Shoots Himself Inside A Crowded Theater

You just can't make this stuff up. A man in Salina, Kansas is waking up this morning a little embarrassed and thankful to be alive.

Over the weekend, movie-goers packed the theater for a showing of "Maze Runner". About 45 minutes into the movie someone heard a loud pop and thought it could be someone popping a bag as a prank. Then, a few seconds later a man started shouting "Oh my God, I just shot myself...I just got my concealed carry permit and I shoot myself".

As most of the theater were filing out, some understandably shaken given the past incidences of movie theater shootings, one guy came to the aid of the man. He took off his belt and used it as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding until help arrived. Which they did about 15 minutes later.

Doctors say the injury isn't life threatening and the man should make a full recovery although his pride may take a hit.

Oh and by the way, Kansas just enacted a law that allows people to conceal carry firearms without training or a permit.

Just throwing that out there.
