In case you haven't heard yet, UHV pitcher Andre Del Bosque has been selected in the 38th round of the Major League Baseball draft by none other than the New York Yankees.

Andre becomes the first player in UHV Baseball's 7 year history to be drafted to the majors.

But don't look for him suiting up with Derek Jeter just yet. He still has a long hard road ahead of him. Extensive time in the minors to develop and perfect his craft. However, I have no doubt we'll see Andre in the majors one day. He's a hard worker and is constantly trying to improve.

We'll see about getting Andre in studio soon and let him tell the story himself. Until then, congrats Andre! You earned it!
