Litter Ruins Our Beautiful State

It's a shame. It's a shame that people can be so lazy and inconsiderate that they just dump their trash anywhere. I know most people do care and dispose of their trash properly, and I know lots of Texans go above and beyond. Take the twice a year Adopt-A-Beach cleanup for example. Thousands of volunteers collect tons of trash which is awesome but, that trash should never ave been left there in the first place.

There's an organization called Texas Heritage Protection dedicated to making the Lone Star State a better place for future generations. They produced a video that shows litter can be hiding anywhere, and it has a big impact. The video features Kate Garcia, our fair city's Environmental Programs Coordinator. Check it out.
