FOX hasn’t issued terribly many renewals for the 2016-17 season as of yet, but fans of half-hour comedies from SNL alum are in good hands. Not only will The Last Man on Earth continue not to be the last man on Earth through 2017, so too will Brooklyn Nine-Nine remain open.

FOX handed out renewals to the Will Forte - Andy Samberg ensemble comedies, though those looking for renewals from fellow comedies New Girl, The Grinder or Grandfathered are out of luck for the moment. In the meantime, so says FOX of the renewals, which follow Gotham and Empire with additional seasons:

We’re so proud of these comedies. Each has its own unique voice, but they both boast terrific ensembles with stand-out characters and, of course, phenomenal writing, which are the hallmarks of all great comedies. We’d like to thank the executive producers, casts and crews of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Last Man on Earth for their tremendous work this season, and look forward to what’s in store next year.

We’ll likely hear more in the coming weeks, but which has fans more excited, The Last Man on Earth Season 3, or Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 4?
