Gators, gators, and more gators during Gatorfest in Anahuac, the Alligator Capital of Texas thist weekend. Yep, it's all about the gators at historic Fort Anahuac Park, at the mouth of the Trinity River, located 45 miles east of Houston and 45 miles west of Beaumont, exit 810 on I-10, then take State Highway 563, 7 miles south to Fort Annahuac.

The festival features events like The Great Texas Alligator Roundup, the Alligator Education Tent, lots of other events, plenty of food including alligator (naturally), and lots of live music from rock to country, zydeco, r&b, blues and more. Performers include Wayne Toups, Bag of Donuts, William Clark Green and Aaron Watson. It all happens Friday, September 14th through Sunday September 16th, tickets and info are available here.
