Blumhouse Pictures, the same production company that brought us micro-budget hits like 'Insidious' and 'The Purge,' is revving up for a new horror thriller 'Visions' and is looking to bulk it up with 'The Big Bang Theory' star Jim Parsons, Isla Fisher of 'The Great Gatsby' and Ellen Barkin of 'The New Normal.'

According to Deadline, Kevin Greutert ('Saw 6,' 'Saw 3D') is directing 'Visions' from a script by Lucas Sussman that tells of a pregnant woman (presumably Fisher) who begins to have increasingly disturbing visions after she joins her husband (presumable Parsons) on his vineyard. Blumhouse International is currently shopping the work around at the American Film Market.

Blumhouse found great success in these on-the-cheap productions, partly because of the big names attached to them. Ethan Hawke and 'Game of Thrones' star Lena Headey headlined 'The Purge,' which Blumhouse is continuing with 'The Purge 2,' while Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne have helped turned the 'Insidious' saga into a hit. In response, other studios are chiming in with their own micro-budget horror films, like Warner Bros. with 'The Conjuring' and Universal with 'Mama.'

What do you think? Based on the potential cast and the brief plot description, do you think 'Visions' could be the next hit for Blumhouse? Give us your thoughts in the comments.
