It’s Toys For Tots Time Again in the Crossroads

It's the time of year when Halloween is gone and the focus immediately shifts to Christmas. Amazing how that works huh? I mean I have XM radio in my car and they're already playing Christmas music....earlier and earlier every year...but I digress.

The holidays are about giving. And there are some children in our area who may go without much of a Christmas unless we help out.

I've been involved in helping our local Toys for Tots chapter for the past 3 years (excluding last year when I was off work fighting cancer) but this year I'm back and I want to help out more so to make up for my absence last year.

That's where you come in. Here at the station, there is a donation box for Toys for Tots in our lobby. I'm asking all our faithful KLUB listeners to donate 1 unwrapped toy....just 1 (more if you are inclined to do so of course).

In return we'll sweeten the deal a little....you bring in 1 unwrapped toy valued at $10 and we'll give you 2 tickets to Wurstfest in New Braunfels (valued at $20). Wursfest is a celebration of sausage and German culture (yes, including beer) and is happening from November 6th through the 15th.

Our station is located at 107 North Star Drive right here in Victoria and you can drop off those toys and pick up your tickets to Wurstfest.
