So I was reading an article from the good folks at The Huffington Post and it made me realize that I may have been on to something before. It seems that there aren't any shortages of people in Victoria that have had "bad customer service" at a plethora of establishments here in town. I will be the first to admit. Some places in town and some people who work at these businesses could use extensive training in the area of customer service. However, what if the problem isn't the person behind the counter, but the person in front of it?

I talked about a certain Facebook page that is just jam packed with complainers. Well apparently they caught wind of my blog and there were some less than flattering comments written about me. Gotta hate when the truth hurts. For instance, there was a comment about yours truly that read "We'll shut him down like we did Texas Drive Inn". Newsflash....both Texas Drive Inn, and myself, are still up and running. That comment tells me the only thing I need to know. This person has a bad experience somewhere, that business deserves to be shut down. Get over it. Buy a puppy, collect coins, build model airplanes...just get a hobby and stop being so bitter when someone makes a mistake.

So someone forgets to put ketchup on your hamburger. Or you had to wait an extra 5 minutes so they can cook you fresh fries. But that's not enough is it? Some people just aren't happy unless they're complaining and that's just really sad. I'm willing to bet that a vast majority of the time some of these people don't even attempt to get their wrong righted but instead immediately take to social media to let the world know how much of an injustice it was to be asked to pull forward at a drive thru. Or not enough ice in your coke.

In my opinion, the people at Huffington Post have it right. 9 times out of 10 it's not the establishment that has the problem. Stop being shitty customers and maybe, just maybe, you'll start to notice a difference. Just my opinion......take from it what you will.
