The coach finally did it. Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien finally had enough mediocre play from starting quarterback Brock Osweiler and after throwing 2 interceptions, and benched him in the 2nd quarter in favor of backup Tom Savage.

Even though Savage didn't throw any touchdowns, he did throw for 260 yards, and gave running back Lamar Miller a chance to score the teams only TD. The late rally put the Texans ahead of the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars 21-20, who fired their head coach Gus Bradley after the game.

After the Texans took the lead late in the game, they still left enough time for the Jags to mount a comeback,  but Houston's defense proved once again the saving grace, which they've done pretty much all season, and intercepted Blake Bortles to allow Houston to run out the clock and get the win.

The win is the Texans 10th in a row in the division, and leaves them at 8-6 ties with Tennessee for the division lead, but with an edge at 5-0 in division play.
