While the Houston Texans $72 million dollar quarterback hasn't been more than mediocre this season, he'll get another chance to prove himself this weekend in the team's AFC Wildcard Playoff game against the Oakland Raiders.

Tom Savage who was the starter before having to undergo concussion protocol after a hit last weekend, is still recovering and Head Coach Bill O'Brien announced the decision yesterday.

Savage had started the last 2 games for the Texans, but suffered a hit against the Tennessee Titans, and was pulled after a concussion. Brock Osweiler came in in relief, and played a little better than he has in previous games, throwing for 253 yards and scoring a touchdown on a run.

Coach O'Brien said that if Tom Savage is cleared by Saturday he'll be the backup. If not, Brandon Weeden will be the backup.
