There's shooting yourself in the foot (a fumble by RB Alfred Blue that resulted in a Denver touchdown), then there's the truly strange (Brock Osweiler becomes the first QB to complete a fumble that gave Denver another 7 points), which is no way to win a game, young man. The final result, a 27-9 loss in Denver last night.

It was Brock Osweiler's homecoming in the mile high city, and his inconsistency didn't help the Texans.

Both defenses played pretty well in the first half, but Denver found ways to run over the Texans in the second.

Osweiler went 22 of 41 with no touchdowns and no interceptions, but just couldn't connect on the big plays. The Texans' road woes continued, but they do remain atop the AFC South at 4-3, with a home game this weekend when the Detroit Lions come to town. The Lions have been riding the late-game heroics of QB Matthew Stafford to a record of 4-3.
