It's been rough for south Texas and even worse for the city of Houston after Hurricane Harvey took it's toll. The thought of getting back to business as the Houston Texans started the regular season against the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday was supposed to be a bright spot, but the Texans got almost as manhandled on the field as they did by the hurricane.

Jacksonville registered an almost unheard of 10 sacks on Houston on their way to 29-7 win. It was also bittersweet for the Jaguars because of concerns of their state getting hammered by Hurricane Irma.

Texans starting quarterback Tom Savage was beaten up without much offensive line protection, and was benched in favor of rookie Deshaun Watson for the second half, but the Texans still couldn't mount any offense. Defense was just as bad, even with the return of J.J. Watt who said the only way for the team to go after that performance is up.

Next up for the Texans, a Thursday night game on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals this week. You can hear all the action right here on KLUB Classic Rock 106.9 beginning at 7pm, presented by Del Papa Distributing and Bud Light. also brought to you by Victory Buick GMC, Bayside Seafood and American RVs.
