His first Major League appearance with the Houston Astros may not have resulted in a win but, Lance McCullers won the best cleats ever award.

When you think about it, it's pretty ironic that a pitcher would show so much love for Bat-man, but considering there's no ERA-man, K-man or Induce a Double Play-man, you gotta make do, right?

McCullers didn't exactly put forth a superheroic effort -- he went four-and-two-thirds innings, giving up a run and three hits to go with five strikeouts and three walks as the A's topped the Astros 2-1.
