Classic rock will be well represented in this year's Black Friday Record Store Day releases, which will include special collectible vinyl from Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Joe Satriani and more.

The Hendrix title, 'Hear My Music,' is a limited-edition, individually numbered double-album "authorized bootleg," pressed on 200-gram audiophile vinyl and including what Legacy Recordings promises is "a treasure trove of unreleased Jimi Hendrix studio recordings from 1969." Satriani is offering a 30th-anniversary edition of the five-song EP that led to his first record deal, a truly solo affair that found him coaxing an entire band's worth of noises out of his guitar. A Record Store Day exclusive, 'Joe Satriani EP' has been remastered for 180-gram vinyl; copies will be individually numbered.

Bowie, meanwhile, is releasing Legacy's Black Friday flagship title, an exclusive 10" single that features his new compilation's previously unreleased track 'Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)' backed with ''Tis a Pity She's a Whore.' Other classic rock titles on offer include a special double-disc reissue of the Kinks' 1971 'Muswell Hillbillies' LP, featuring the album paired with a bonus vinyl disc of rarities and outtakes from the original album sessions as well as BBC sessions recorded for John Peel. Shoppers can also look for an expanded edition of the 'American Hustle' soundtrack, which tacks six extra songs onto the track listing and presses the whole thing into a red and blue vinyl gatefold package featuring classic songs from America, the Bee Gees, Electric Light Orchestra, Elton John and Wings.
