H-E-B Plus To Host 4th of July Parade!

H-E-B Plus! is hosting its fifth annual Fourth of July Bike, Trike and Wagon Parade at 9 a.m. Thursday in the H-E-B Plus! parking lot, 6106 N. Navarro St.

Trophies will be awarded for most decorative and creative entries in the following age groups: 2-4 years, 5-7 years and 8-12 years.

A trophy will also be awarded for Best in Show. Kids and their parents are invited to stick around after the parade and enjoy root beer floats, face painting and balloon sculptures.

Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter, Victoria Police Department, Victoria Fire Department and National Guard will also be showcased in the parade, along with many other members of our community. H-E-B is supporting a companywide endeavor, "Operation Military Appreciation," as the store honors those who have given so much to our country.

Lineup for the parade begins at 8:30 a.m. on the south side of the building with the parade beginning at 9 a.m. Kids may preregister their entry by picking up an entry form at H-E-B Plus! and dropping it off at the store or by simply registering the morning of the parade.
