Guns N’ Roses Las Vegas Night Two Report: Sebastian Bach, ‘Don’t Cry’ + More

On Saturday (April 9), Guns N’ Roses made a few changes to the setlist for their show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. They replaced two songs and added another two, one of which, “My Michelle,” featured former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach.

As you can see in the video above, Bach was clearly jazzed to be there. “I’ll say one thing,” he shouted. “Thank you for making us so f—ing happy, Guns N’ Roses! Is this f—ing great, or what?” Then, he and Axl Rose traded lines on the Appetite for Destruction deep cut, after which Bach declared that the “last time I was on stage with these guys was 19-f—ing-91.”

In addition to adding a cover of the Who‘s “The Seeker” — which they played at the April 1 warm-up gig at the Troubadour — to the encore, they removed their cover of the Damned’s “New Rose” from the 10th slot. Instead, Duff McKagan took the spotlight for his take on the Misfits’ “Attitude,” which began with a verse from Johnny Thunders’ “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory.” They also ditched “Patience” from the encore and substituted “Don’t Cry” in its place. You can find video of all three new songs below.

Rose was still confined to the throne that he is borrowing from Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters on account of his broken foot. His doctor expects his mobility to be limited “for about four weeks – and then we will let him gradually progress from there.”

Guns N’ Roses have four more concerts in the first part of the Not in This Lifetime… tour. This Saturday and April 23, they will play the Coachella Festival in Indio, Calif. In between those dates — April 19 and 20 — they will perform at the Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico. They begin a tour of North American stadiums on Jun 23 at Ford Field in Detroit.
