The Allman Brothers Band may have ground to a halt, but former leader Gregg Allman clearly isn't planning on becoming a homebody.

Just off a series of well-received January dates, Allman has announced a spring tour with concerts stretching from March into May. Highlights include stops at Stagecoach, the Wanee Festival and a pair of dates at the House of Blues in Chicago. Several concerts will include Gregg's son Devon Allman as an opening act. A complete list of dates and towns is below.

The Allman Brothers Band ended their 45-year run with an epic three-set closing night on Oct. 28, 2014, at the Beacon in New York City. Since then, Allman has been nominated for a Grammy for his collaboration with Taj Mahal on the Allman Brothers Band's 'Statesboro Blues' from 2014's 'Gregg Allman: All My Friends,' his first solo project since 2011's 'Low Country Blues.'

Prior to that release, Allman had not released a solo album in 14 years. The Allman Brothers Band's '1971 Fillmore East Recordings' also received an expanded reissue in 2014.
