Give the Gift of Life During the Townsquare Media, Texas Zoo Leap Year Blood Drive

We're celebrating Leap Year with the Townsquare Media, Texas Zoo Leap Year Blood Drive at South Texas Blood & Tissue Center.

Leap Day (February 29th) from 11am to 7:30pm, stop by the Victoria Donor Room at 1109 Sam Houston Drive in Victoria, and spend a little time donating blood. All blood types are needed, especially for O negative, the universal blood type.

Here's a sobering statistic: every 2 seconds, somebody needs blood. And when you consider that 1 pint of blood can save up to 3 lives, that's a pretty good return just for giving a little of your time. You won't go away empty-handed either, because donors receive a t-shirt and a day pass to the Texas Zoo, while supplies last.
