Get Ready to Feel Old. Movies That Turn 25 Years Old.

It's hard getting older...let's face it. But, there's nothing like realizing some of your favorite movies, perhaps some movies you grew up with, are turning a quarter century old this year. I will admit, some of these movies took me by surprise as I thought a couple of them were older than 25 but pleasantly surprised they weren't that old yet. However, some of these movies just make me say "Wow....I'm old".

Christmas Vacation

This one is a classic Holiday movie around my house. Have to watch it at least once a year...sometimes in July...no seriously.

Batman

One of the classics. The original Batman movie starring Michael Keaton as the Dark Knight and Jack Nicholson as a very convincing Joker.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Remember the movie where Indiana Jones and his dad (Sean Connery) battle Nazi's? Yeah, it's 25 years old!

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

The movie that launched the career of Keanu Reeves and ushered in the air guitar era is already 25 years old?!? Bogus!

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Here's another movie I grew up with that personally, I thought was a little older than 25 but I was wrong. It was shortly after this movie franchise that Rick Moranis retired from acting to raise his kida after his wife passed away from breast cancer.

The Little Mermaid

Yes, it has been 25 years since Disney's The Little Mermaid hit theaters...and yes, I'm just as shocked as you are.
