The Victoria Generals were rained out Saturday against the East Texas Pump Jacks, which forced a doubleheader yesterday at Riverside Stadium that the Generals swept.

In game 1, Kaleb Keith pitched 7 scoreless innings in a pitchers duel against the Pump Jacks Anthony Gonsolin also threw a shutout for 7 innings, but the Generals managed to pull out the win 2-1.

Game 2 was another close one, with the Generals edging the Pump Jacks 3-2 despite an early lead by East Texas.

The Generals will have the next three days off for the All Star game on Tuesday night in Bryan. 9 Generals players will be a part of the team. Following the game, the team will head to Kilgore to play the Pump Jacks again, before returning home Saturday for a two game set with the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
