The Victoria Generals managed to split their series with the Brazos Valley Bombers wrapping it up last night falling 8-2.

Matt Burks was 3-5 at the plate generating all the Generals offense, but the team was unable to produce any other runs on the night, despite having other opportunities.

The Generals will now head to The Woodlands for a two-game series to end the regular season, starting tonight at 7:05.

The Generals have secured a playoff spot when they open Saturday night against the Acadiana Cane Cutters at riverside Stadium. Plus, it's a great night to cheer on the Generals since it will be a free ticket night presented by Citizens Health Center.

Go Generals!
