The Victoria Generals edged the Brazos Valley Bombers 3-2 last night at Riverside Stadium, and in doing so, moved back into 1st place in the Texas Collegiate League Standings.

Matt Burks generated a majority of the offense for the Generals with 2 solo home runs on a 2-4 performance at the plate.Ty Schlottmann started on the mound for the Generals, going 6 innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 1.

With the win, the Generals have taken 1st place in the TCL standings.

Tonight the Generals are in action again at Riverside for another matchup with the Bombers at 7:05. It's Victoria College Night at Riverside Stadium, and it's also Wingstop Wednesday at the ballpark, if the Generals win, fans can redeem their ticket stub for free wings on Thursday.
