Former Texans Wide Receiver has Gone Missing

Emergency crews will resume their search for a former Houston Texans player who fell into Lake Lavon while boating this past Sunday.
37 year old JaJuan Dawson, of Murphy, was taken in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Dawson was born in Houston and played collegiately at Tulane.

After one season in Cleveland, he spent the 2002 campaign with the Texans appearing in 14 games. He had 21 receptions for 286 yards and started two games during the season.

Dawson attended high school in Louisiana at H.L. Bourgeois High School.

Crews searched for Dawson Sunday night until about 10 p.m.
