Former major league pitcher and current ESPN analyst Curt Schilling is waking up this morning not knowing if he'll have a job much longer.

Schilling has been working as an analyst and on air commentator for the Little League World Series which is currently going on. On Tuesday, Schilling was pulled from his on air duties over a Tweet he sent out earlier in the day. That Tweet didn't sit well with a lot of people. In the Tweet, Schilling basically compared modern day Islamic extremists to the Nazis....Even going as far as posting a picture of Adolf Hitler. I guess he realized what he did because the Tweet wasn't up for very long before being pulled by Schilling.

ESPN responded by releasing a statement:

“Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective. We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration.”

Schilling is the second on-air personality reprimanded by ESPN in recent days. Cris Carter, an N.F.L. studio analyst, was found in a 2014 rookie symposium video to have advised young players to “have a fall guy in your crew” if any of them found himself in legal trouble.

Schilling quickly released a statement of his own:

“I understand and accept my suspension. 100% my fault. Bad choices have bad consequences and this was a bad decision in every way on my part.”

Remember kids....what you post on the internet follows you.
