Picture it: A beautiful cruise ship, sailing on the open sea. A fruity cocktail in your hand and the sun shining down. Paul Rodgers sitting just a few feet away, lathered in suntan lotion.

All this can be yours on the Rock Legends Cruise II, setting sail in January 2013 from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and featuring a whopping 15 artists on the bill, playing fifty sets of music over the course of four days. Confirmed acts to date include Foreigner, Paul Rodgers, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Bachman & Turner, 38 Special, The Marshall Tucker Band, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Molly Hatchet, Kentucky Headhunters, Pat Travers, The Artimus Pyle Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, SwampDaWamp and Whiskey Myers. Even more acts are expected to be confirmed before departure.

Fans will be able to enjoy live music in one of three venues, with showtimes set up to allow the opportunity to see every band on the lineup over the course of the cruise. Expect the unexpected when it comes to collaboration between the bands, and the opportunity to enjoy time with your favorite artist outside the shows at specially arranged meet and greet events. For each ticket purchased, $250 will benefit the Native American Heritage Association, which has been working on reservations in South Dakota for more than 18 years.

Rodgers will have a chance to warm up his pipes for the cruise when he hits the road with his fellow members of Bad Company for their first jaunt in mainland Europe since 1975.  There should also be plenty of time for Foreigner’s Mick Jones to recover from his recent heart bypass.
