A concertgoer has been charged with assault after allegedly leaping from a balcony while attending a show headlined by Bring Me the Horizon on Feb. 13 in Denver. As a result of the dive, it's been reported that three concertgoers were injured, resulting in their transport to Denver Health Medical Center.

We're not talking about a stage dive here or even a jump off the speakers. Alex McCormick, 23, allegedly jumped from the second floor balcony of the Ogden Theater down into the pit, causing head and neck trauma to two members of the audience and minor injuries to a third fan, according to Lynn Kimbrough, communications director with the Denver District Attorney. McCormick reportedly fled the scene, but was arrested later that night.

The alleged balcony dive resulted in McCormick being charged with three counts of third degree assault on Feb. 18 according to court documents. McCormick is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 24. [via Reverb]
