Popular national-destination, Full Throttle Saloon, in Sturgis, SD was destroyed in an overnight blaze.

Multiple fire departments were called to the fire just after midnight. However due to the size of the fire by the time they arrived, they didn’t not attempt to extinguish the fire, but rather moved to contain the fire so it didn’t spread.

Firefighters were ordered NOT to enter any of the burning buildings and due to lack of water at the scene they were forced to truck in water from another location.

Full Throttle Saloon is owned by Michael Ballard and is featured on the popular TV show of the same name which had just wrapped up filming for this season.

No word yet as to how the fire started. However, if you've ever watched the show you'd know that a couple of seasons ago there was a small electrical fire caused by faulty wiring...one would wonder if that had something to do with it.
