Enrollment Up at UHV

Victoria has some great options for higher education with Victoria College and the University of Houston-Victoria, and more students are taking advantage of those options, as UHV has announced growth in both student enrollment and housing.

According to a press release from UHV, 4,207 students are enrolled for the Fall semester, an increase of 55 students compared to last year.

Officials say the increase also shows in student housing, with a reported 609 beds occupied, a 4% increase from last year, and 12% from the year before that.

University officials say the increase shows more name recognition of the university statewide.
