Don’t let the cute spike and virginal white feathers fool you. That cockatoo is one hard-rockin’ son-of-a-bird. Tonto has been trained to headbang to songs like AC/DC‘s ‘You Shook Me All Night Long,’ but after watching the video below you may agree that training him to rock is like training a dog to bark. It just comes naturally.

He is a one man mosh pit, jumping across his owner’s arms while the songs is turned up full blast. There’s nearly five minutes of beak banging, which gets a little old. But around the two-and-a-half minute mark Tonto begins to sing as well. If this was 1980, and Bon Scott had just died … we’re just saying that Tonto could have been considered.

Our resident bird expert says that Tonto is an Umbrella Cockatoo. They’re a breed that requires a lot of interaction. Apparently it’s not difficult to train them to dance and sing, as you’ll see if you search the bird on YouTube. That’s pretty much how we spent our weekend. Sorry Dad.
