Just when you think you’ve seen it all, it takes an artist like David Cerny to remind you that you haven’t. The Czech artist has created one of the biggest, coolest, and weirdest things for visitors wandering around outside the Czech Olympic headquarters in London. It’s big, it’s red, and it does push-ups.

Sitting outside for the duration of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Cerny’s red double-decker bus is quite a sight to behold. According to the Telegraph, Cerny designed this because “he thought push-ups would be fitting as every athlete completes them for training yet they are also considered a form of punishment.”

The London icon even grunts and moans with each push-up attempted. This impressive structure – seen in action below – has an engine that powers the two robotic arms, lifting the bus into the air. Just wondering at what point does the bus collapse from exhaustion, get up and go eat cake for the rest of the day. At least it doesn’t do squats. We’d have to take an Olympic torch to that nightmarish vision.
