2014’s concert schedule is starting to take shape with the dates for many of the biggest and most anticipated U.S. rock festivals being revealed. From April 26 through May 31, six rock festivals will invade the U.S., resulting in what could only be called the World’s Loudest Month.

Things get started in late April with Monster Energy’s Welcome to Rockville set for April 26-27 in North Florida. That is followed up by the newest festival added to the roster -  Fort Rock on April 26 in Fort Myers, Fla.

Carolina Rebellion will kick off the month of May, scheduled for the 3-4 in Charlotte, N.C.

Columbus, Ohio’s Rock on the Range is up next on May 16-18 followed by Rocklahoma in Pryor, Okla. on May 23-25.

The amazing month of rock will wrap up in Kansas City, Mo. with RockFest on May 31.

"I've been saying all year that I keep hearing rock is 'dead,' yet record numbers attend our shows every year,” said co-Executive Danny Wimmer. “Festivals are for music fans who buck trends and remain true to the music they like.”

Although the lineups have not yet been revealed, these festivals usually feature the biggest names in hard rock each year. A special website has been created covering all six events, with links to ticket pre-sales and all the details. Visit it here for more information.
