For 58 minutes and 40 seconds the game was a complete dumpster fire. Both teams clinging to 3 field goals each. Yes, that's right there wasn't a single touchdown scored until 1:20 left in the game...THE GAME! I'll say it was one of the most boring Monday Night Football games in recent memory.....then it happened.

With the game tied 9-9, Dallas was forced to punt on 4th down with a little over a minute left in the game. DeSean Jackson was back deep for Washington. He received the punt and, quite frankly, tried to make too much happen. Jackson tried to run backwards in attempts to run around the outside of the onslaught of Cowboys and was tackled by no less than a half dozen defenders. Then, the unthinkable happened....Jackson fumbled the ball! The fumble was recovered by the Cowboys Punter...yes, the punter.

Darren McFadden scored on a run play with just over a minute left putting the Cowboys up by 7 with 1:14 left in the game. Game over right? Not so fast.

In a fit of redemption, Cousins hooked up with DeSean Jackson for a long touchdown pass tying the game yet again with about 47 seconds left in the game. On the kickoff, Dallas managed to get to midfield. Then on a couple of pass plays, set up Dan Bailey who nailed a 54 yard field goal to win the game in the closing seconds for the Cowboys.

Even with their 4-8 record, and the fact that this is the first win for the Cowboys without Tony Romo, the Cowboys find themselves in 2nd place in the laughable NFC East. With about 1/4 of the season remaining. The Cowboys next face the Packers this Sunday.
