Medical examiners have determined that actress Carrie Fisher had cocaine in her system when she fell ill aboard a flight last year.  However, they were unable to determine how much of a roll, if any, the drugs played in her death.

The report released this morning states Fisher may have taken cocaine three days before the Dec. 23 flight on which she became ill. She died four days later.  It also found traces of heroin and MDMA, which is also known as ecstasy, but that they could not determine when Fisher had taken those drugs.

The coroner listed sleep apnea as the primary cause of death of the Star Wars actress but also stated "other factors" as contributors.  One has to assume these drugs would be those other factors.

Fisher was always upfront and honest about battling her addictions and in this case, sadly, her addictions won out.  But that doesn't make her any less of a human being or take away anything she did in her life.  R.I.P. Princess.  You will be sorely missed.
