Clay Aiken has Political Opponent Killed in Mafia Hit

OK, now that I have your attention. No, Clay Aiken didn’t have his political opponent knocked off mafia style. That was a joke. But it was the first thing I thought of when I read the news that his political rival, 71 year old Democrat Kieth Crisco, died as a result of injuries sustained in a fall. It made me chuckle. Not that the man is dead, that’s horrible, but that the former American Idol runner-up would be capable of something so vicious.

Aiken and Crisco were pretty much neck and neck in their political battle with the winner taking on incumbent Renee Ellers in North Carolina. But, as stated before, Crisco suddenly passed away from injuries from a fall which is tragic. He was about to concede to Aiken who was ahead in the polls.

I’m sure the jokes are flying around North Carolina now and I’m sure Aiken has already heard a slew of them but if you should ever find yourself in a tight race with him… your back!! Kidding!!!……kind of.
