City of Victoria Scores in Job Growth

We all know Texas is one of the best states when it comes to jobs and economic development, and now our fair city has moved up in the ranks for small town job growth.

According the the website newgeography.com, Victoria has gained 8 spots in job growth from last year's rankings, coming in at 13th on the list. Victoria joined Midland and Odessa as the only 3 Texas cities in the top 20, Midland was ranked #1, with Odessa #3.

The website cited an increase of 19% in jobs from 2003 to 2014.
