In Old Town Spring, about 30 minutes north of Houston, there is a new church that opened up on, of all days, Halloween. That church?...The Greater Church of Lucifer.

Church leaders are adamant that they do not, as a whole, worship Satan. The church's philosophy is more in line with the New-Age spiritual movements of the 1960s and is focused on self-improvement. They picked the name "Lucifer" using the Latin translation, which is "light bringer," as a symbolic representation of the congregation's search for knowledge and self-empowerment.

"We're not against Christianity," HopeMarie Ford, co-president of the church, said in an interview. "We're just about letting people find truth for themselves."

That didn't stop protesters from showing up in droves to protest the opening. Nothing like a little protesting to show how religiously tolerant you are.

The funny part? It seems two different Christian groups showed up to protest the Church of Lucifer and ended up protesting....eachother. Both groups claiming the other aren't following Jesus correctly.

Imagine that. Not sure why I thought it was so funny. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion sure but to protest the protesters at a protest. Haha, it's just all a little backwards for my taste. I'll stick to my religion over here in my little corner and you guys do what you want.
