Chad Kroeger Engaged…….To Avril Lavigne?!? We’re All Doomed!

God, say it ain't so!  The Bible has foretold of such an unholy union but I figured the 2012 end of the world thing was just a phase....turns out, it may actually be happening IN CANADA OF ALL PLACES!!

It appears as if Canadian "musicians" Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback will be tying the knot after 6 months of dating.  I'm not sure what we did to piss Canada off but I'm sure we're all very sorry and won't do it again.

This marks Lavigne's 2nd marriage who was married once before to Sum 41 frontman Derrick Whibley...that marriage ended after about a year.  Kroeger has never been married...surprise surprise.

They should have no trouble picking decor for their new home as it seems they both have endless credit at Hot Topic.  Not sure what's worse about this whole story....her teeth or his lyrics.  One thing is for certain, if theY consumate the marriage and end up with a child I can only hope what they say is true about talent skipping a generation....in this case that kid should be a great musician.

Why, Canada?  You've given us such gems as Celine Dion and Justin Bieber....have we not suffered enough?!?
