Sewage Accidentally Released Into Guadalupe River at Gonzales Won’t Affect Victoria

Talk about a messy situation, officials in the City of Gonzales say that  floodwaters from the Guadalupe River flowed into the city’s collection facility for domestic wastewater at about 8 a.m. Thursday, resulting in causing the accidental discharge of 200,000 gallons of untreated sewage. The water flowed into Tinsley Creek and then to the Guadalupe River but, Victoria officials say it's nothing to worry about.
