British Actor, And All Around Badass, Alan Rickman Dies at 69

Seriously people...STOP DYING! Legendary British actor Alan Rickman passed away today at age 69.

The much loved British actor first shot to stardom in 1988 when he played Hans Gruber, Bruce Willis's adversary, in Die Hard.

He gained legions of fans for his role as Professor Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films.

He also had roles in Love Actually, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Sense and Sensibility.

According to multiple websites, Rickman had been battling cancer for some time. First Bowie, now Snape?!? Cancer thy heartless bitch!

He was surrounded by family when he passed. If you're a Harry Potter fan, this must hit hard....Wands up!
